Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Skippy McGee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Henry Sinclair! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Donatello Bradman and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sinclair looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? McGee is fending him off so far but Sinclair persists. Nope, McGee circles away and we're back to standing. McGee tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sinclair paws at him with a jab and circles away. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sinclair is defended easily by McGee. McGee wants to clinch. McGee misses with a takedown attempt and Sinclair counters with a nice double leg into half guard. McGee is trying to stand.
Sinclair is working for a submission of some sort.

McGee wants to control his opponent's hands but Sinclair gets his hands free. Sinclair looking for the choke from the back. McGee tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! McGee tries to reverse the position but Sinclair maintains control. McGee tries to hold on but Sinclair postures up. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. McGee sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Henry Sinclair dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Sinclair shoots in but doesn't get the takedown so McGee counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. McGee scores with a decent looking elbow strike. McGee trying to control but Sinclair is working from the bottom. Sinclair had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. McGee defends it easily. McGee wants to control from the top but Sinclair keeps moving. McGee wants to stand but Sinclair is controlling his posture from full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. McGee shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Sinclair counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. McGee throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Sinclair wants to pass the guard but McGee is keeping the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sinclair in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. McGee is looking to sweep but instead, Sinclair has passed into half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. McGee tries to get to full guard but Sinclair has control of the leg.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. McGee with a lazy takedown attempt and Sinclair counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in McGee's guard now. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Sinclair postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. McGee is striking but Sinclair is not phased and passes to half guard. Sinclair slows the pace down in half guard. McGee is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Sinclair pulls his head out easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Henry Sinclair showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
McGee tries to clinch and Sinclair counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. McGee is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Sinclair's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Sinclair's back! Sinclair looking very determined here, making life difficult for McGee.

McGee controlling the position well here. Sinclair rolled but McGee kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Henry Sinclair has got the better of the ground game so far. McGee has the hooks in. Sinclair is starting to panic. He's trying to push off one of the legs but he's left his neck open to attack. McGee passes his arm under Sinclair's neck and tightens up a rear naked choke! This one is surely all over! Yes, Sinclair taps!
