Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ben Strange (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robbi Nakamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robbi Nakamura told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ben Strange! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Robbi Nakamura! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Steve Erwin and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Strange showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Nakamura.
Nakamura moves in looking to clinch but Strange pushes him off. Nakamura tries to clinch but Strange moves out of range. Nakamura avoids the head kick by Strange.
Strange tries to clinch but Nakamura moves away and Nakamura moves into the clinch. Strange blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Nakamura wants a takedown but no success here.
Nakamura pulls guard. Nakamura working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Strange doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Strange manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Strange is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Nakamura has his foot on Strange's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Strange works his way back into a safe position though. Nakamura managing to control the position. Strange slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Strange wanted to stand there but Nakamura had control of the position. Nakamura is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Strange doesn't defend quickly enough and Nakamura has managed to lock this one up! Can Strange escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Nakamura on a fantastic submission victory.
