The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mutanaama scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Mutanaama seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mordor does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Mordor controls Mutanaama momentarily but Mutanaama frees himself.
Mutanaama stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mordor swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Mutanaama jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Mordor manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Mutanaama is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Mordor has escaped the position, nice work there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mutanaama swings around for an armbar but Mordor sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Mutanaama's guard.

Mutanaama is trying to control the position but Mordor postures up.
Mordor is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Mutanaama is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Mutanaama has escaped and now he's on top!
Mordor is breathing heavily.
Mordor keeping moving, preventing Mutanaama from controlling successfully.
Mutanaama working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Mutanaama drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mutanaama jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Mordor looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Mutanaama!

Mutanaama trying to hold on to Mordor's head to control him but Mordor postures up.
Mordor is looking for a kimura but Mutanaama is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Mordor to get the leverage.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Mutanaama is pressing down on Mordor's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Mutanaama lands a good elbow from the bottom.

Mutanaama not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Mutanaama working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mordor doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mordor manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Mordor has gone for a leg lock! Mutanaama slips out almost immediately though and dives into Mordor's guard.
Mutanaama thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Mutanaama throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Mordor works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Mutanaama stands and throws Mordor's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Mutanaama works to advance to full mount. Mordor defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Mutanaama working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Mordor turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Mutanaama off and cradles Mordor's limp body as Mutanaama celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Pelle Mutanaama!
