Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between James Bugz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Colio Quan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, James Bugz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Colio Quan! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, David Schapiro and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bugz shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Bugz showed some decent athleticism there. Bugz is working for a submission of some sort.
Quan blocking the ground and pound attempt from Bugz. Bugz is trying to control the action in half guard but Quan is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bugz is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Bugz is looking to stall here but Quan recovers full guard. Quan uses the cage to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Quan shoots and misses and Bugz decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Quan's guard. Bugz is looking to work some ground and pound but Quan has wrist control. Bugz trying to control but Quan is working from the bottom. Bugz wants to get up but he can't break Quan's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Bugz stands and steps away. Quan gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Quan looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Quan stops Bugz from standing up. Bugz knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Quan on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Quan scoring with punches to the head and body. Quan throws and elbow that misses. Bugz uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Quan's guard. Nice move by Bugz! Bugz wants to stand but Quan has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Bugz has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Bugz sitting in guard here, content to control. Bugz trying to control the position from guard on top but Quan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Bugz would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Bugz wants to pass the guard but Quan is keeping the position. Quan uses the cage to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Bugz dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Bugz fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Quan manages to avoid it. Quan shoots and misses and Bugz counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Quan! Bugz throwing strikes but Quan bucks up and reverses the position. He's now in guard on top. Bugz with a flurry of punches that miss. Bugz drops back, looking for a kneebar! Quan looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Quan looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Quan! Bugz is trying to control Quan's posture but Quan avoids it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bugz is looking for a sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. Quan works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Quan in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. An elbow from Quan crashes against the mat.
Bugz sneaks back into half guard. Quan trying to control from half guard but Bugz is working away. Quan drops an elbow to the side of Bugz's head. Quan prevents Bugz from improving his position. Bugz trying to control here.
Quan passes the guard and advances to mount! Bugz is looking to get to half guard. Bugz might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bugz tries to hold on but Quan postures up. Quan cracks Bugz with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Bugz is bucking up trying to escape but Quan cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Quan looking to finish Bugz with some ground and pound. This is bad for Bugz! Quan landing strikes from the mount and Bugz is in trouble! Quan with a couple of short strikes. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Quan in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Quan postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Bugz looks a forlorn figure.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Quan looking to control but Bugz is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Bugz is trying desperately to improve position. Quan trying to control but Bugz is having none of it. Bugz tries to hold on but Quan pushes him away. Quan with a couple of short strikes. Bugz taking shots to the head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Quan landing strikes from the mount and Bugz is in trouble! Quan landing punches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bugz is desperately trying to improve his position but Quan has a good base and remains in mount. Bugz is working hard here to advance position. Colio Quan has got the better of the ground game so far. Bugz wants to control but Quan is having none of it. Quan landing punches. Quan punishing his opponent with strikes. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Quan punishing his opponent with strikes. Quan in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Quan with shots to the head and body - Bugz looks very uncomfortable down there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Colio Quan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Bugz closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Bugz lands in his opponent's guard. Bugz wants to control from the top but Quan keeps moving. Bugz controls the pace of the fight for a moment. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Quan can do anything to dispel that myth. Quan is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bugz has gone for a leg lock! Quan slips out almost immediately though and dives into Bugz's guard. Quan keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Bugz's head. Quan lands a couple of decent looking shots. Bugz looking to control.
Bugz keeping moving, preventing Quan from controlling successfully. Quan throwing strikes from guard but Bugz blocks nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Quan's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Quan trying to control but Bugz is working from the bottom. Bugz is looking to stand up but Quan isn't so interested in that idea.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Bugz tries to clinch up. Quan doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Quan takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. A head kick misses from Bugz. Bugz darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Bugz seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bugz is trying to control. Quan wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Quan has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Bugz wants to stand up but Quan has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Bugz seems to be working for a kimura but Quan defends the submission attempt. Quan pushes Bugz off looking to stand but Bugz dives back in and keeps control.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bugz wants to control but Quan is keeping him busy. Still in half guard, Bugz seems content to control.
And that's the end of the fight! James Bugz showed his dominance in that final round. I think Bugz has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
