Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roderick Edwards!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pieru wants to clinch.
Pieru fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Edwards, pushing him back against the ropes.
Pieru's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
A swing and a miss from Pieru.
Pieru instigates a clinch.
Pieru escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Edwards is defended easily by Pieru.
Edwards misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Edwards moves away from the strike by Pieru.

Edwards fails with the takedown.
Yrjo Pieru has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roderick Edwards.
Pieru digs a good hook to Edwards's body.

Edwards walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Pieru throws out a loose jab but Edwards uses good head movement to avoid it.

Pieru throws the left hand but Edwards avoids the punch easily.
Edwards takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Edwards closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Edwards lands in his opponent's guard.
Edwards drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Edwards jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Pieru is looking to stand up but Edwards isn't so interested in that idea.

Edwards drops back looking for a leg! Pieru is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Pieru manages to kick Edwards off! Edwards jumps back into Pieru's guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Pieru scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Edwards with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Pieru to score with a decent uppercut.
Pieru defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Edwards.
Pieru throws a jab but it's blocked by Edwards.
Edwards uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Pieru.
Pieru checks a leg kick.
Pieru is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Edwards.

That's time! Pieru's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Pieru throws a hook but Edwards blocks it.
Pieru throws a shot from downtown. Edwards moves away and avoids it.
Pieru throws a looping overhand right but Edwards ducks down to avoid it.
Pieru moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Edwards steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Pieru.
Pieru misses with a hook. Edwards ducked under it nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Edwards misses with a head kick.
Pieru throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Edwards sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Edwards changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pieru looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Edwards goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Pieru has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Edwards but great work by Pieru.
Pieru wants to stand but Edwards has him controlled and pulls him back into his guard.
Edwards looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Pieru has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Edwards is proving hard to escape from.
Pieru wants to stand and escape but instead Edwards has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Pieru wants to get back to his feet but Edwards is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Pieru trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Edwards working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Pieru's head.
Edwards drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Pieru manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Edwards has Pieru in his guard.
Pieru wanted to stand there but Edwards had control of the position.

Edwards pulls Pieru in close to his closed guard and prevents Pieru from doing any damage or advancing position.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Pieru wanted to stand there but Edwards had control of the position.
Edwards seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Pieru postures up.

A close second round but Roderick Edwards will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Pieru throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Pieru misses with an uppercut. Edwards saw that one coming.
Pieru cracks Edwards with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Edwards looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Pieru is trying to stand back up but Edwards is controlling him

Edwards is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Edwards takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Edwards is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Pieru sees it coming and defends easily.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Edwards misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Horrible takedown by Edwards or perhaps it was just good defense by Pieru which made him look bad.
The fighters circling - Pieru throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Edwards dives in and grabs Pieru's left leg, looking for a takedown. Pieru pushes down on Edwards's head and hops out.
Edwards ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

I would just about give that final round to Roderick Edwards.
I think Edwards has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
