Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kenny Konrad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Greg Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Evans has chosen Everybody Down as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kenny Konrad!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Greg Evans!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Evans tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Konrad was well out of range. Poor timing from Evans.
Evans throws a big shot that misses.
Konrad tries to clinch up but Evans circles away and keeps his distance.
Konrad is looking to clinch.
Evans misses with a double jab.
Evans throws a right and a left that both miss.
Konrad pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A left lands for Evans.
Evans throws a jab when Konrad was well out of range.
Evans throws a right and a left that both miss.
Konrad fails in his attempt to clinch.
Evans throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Evans fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Evans connects with a jab.
Konrad uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Evans.
Evans tries to land a front kick but Konrad steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Konrad gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Evans fails to pull guard.
Evans goes for a takedown attempt but Konrad pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Konrad rushes Evans and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Evans tries to circle away but Konrad has him pinned against the ropes.
Konrad throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Evans blocks it with crossed arms.

Konrad's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Evans avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Evans fails to land with a series of punches.
Konrad uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Evans.
A looping hook to the body misses from Evans. Konrad does a little dance to reset his feet.
Konrad tries to clinch up but Evans circles away and keeps his distance.
Evans is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
A cross from Evans lands.
Evans is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Konrad hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Greg Evans!
