Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yoshi Takahoshi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Wilson Williams! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shigeki Sano and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Williams lands in his opponent's guard. Takahoshi looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Williams stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Takahoshi swivels though and keeps the full guard. Williams is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Williams throwing strikes from guard but Takahoshi blocks nicely. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Williams fails with a takedown attempt. Williams closes the distance and clinches up with Takahoshi, looking for a takedown. Williams pushes Takahoshi against the cage but Takahoshi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Williams looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Williams with a flurry of punches that miss. Williams working some strikes from top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Williams stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Takahoshi swivels though and keeps the full guard. Williams trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Williams trying to control the position from guard on top but Takahoshi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Williams working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Williams missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Takahoshi keeping full guard, as Williams tries to pass.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Williams has a takedown stuffed. Yoshi Takahoshi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wilson Williams. Williams tries to score a power double leg takedown but Takahoshi sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Williams somewhat.

Takahoshi trying to control the position but instead, Williams has worked for underhooks and has pushed Takahoshi into the cage. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Takahoshi just misses with a elbow thrown towards Williams's brow. Williams goes for a takedown attempt but Takahoshi pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Takahoshi leaves Williams with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Williams looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Takahoshi! Takahoshi could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Williams working away from the top, dropping strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Williams dominating with strikes here. Williams has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Takahoshi's face.
Williams sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Williams lands a big shot there that rocks Takahoshi but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Takahoshi takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Williams looking to finish with strikes here!

Williams feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Williams wants to pass the guard but Takahoshi is keeping the position. Williams sitting in guard here, content to control. Williams is looking to advance position but Takahoshi has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Williams is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Williams shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Takahoshi's guard. Williams trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Williams trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Takahoshi might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Williams loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Williams trying to control the position from guard on top but Takahoshi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Williams won't allow Takahoshi to get back to his feet. Takahoshi utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Takahoshi rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Williams moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Williams fails with a takedown attempt. Takahoshi displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Williams. Yoshi Takahoshi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wilson Williams. Williams darts in trying to clinch and Takahoshi counters by moving into the clinch. Takahoshi misses with some punches.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Williams tries to pull guard but Takahoshi won't allow it.

Takahoshi is trying to force a seperation but Williams has the dominant position. Williams has Takahoshi pressed against the cage, preventing Takahoshi from circling away and getting back to striking at range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Wilson Williams showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Williams lands a heavy elbow. Williams with the ground and pound from mount. Williams breaks from Takahoshi's wrist control and lands an elbow. Williams lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Williams misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Takahoshi wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Wilson Williams has got the better of the ground game so far. Takahoshi trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Williams dominating with strikes here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. A nice elbow there by Williams. Takahoshi avoids a series of strikes thrown by Williams.
Takahoshi suckers Williams into throwing a sloppy strike and uses the momentum to reverse the position beautifully! Takahoshi is now in Williams's guard!

Takahoshi keeping moving, preventing Williams from controlling successfully. Takahoshi is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Williams is controlling him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Takahoshi keeping full guard, as Williams tries to pass. Takahoshi wants to stand and escape but Williams is having none of it. Takahoshi working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Williams.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Williams tries to close the distance and clinch but Takahoshi swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Williams shoots and misses and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Takahoshi moves out of range of the body kick. Williams circles away from the clinch attempt.
Williams looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Yoshi Takahoshi has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Wilson Williams is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Takahoshi tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Williams paws at him with a jab and circles away.
And that's the end of the fight! Wilson Williams comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Williams winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
