Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Akira Takashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Glen Burnett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Akira Takashi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Glen Burnett! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Taro Takaoka and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Takashi changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Burnett looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Burnett misses with a strike from the bottom. Burnett tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Takashi wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Burnett taking punishment in the form of punches.
Burnett gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Burnett manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Burnett preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Burnett is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Burnett is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Takashi pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Burnett is keeping the position for now. Takashi trying to control but Burnett is working from the bottom. Takashi trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Takashi has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Excellent takedown into side control there by Takashi.
That's one minute gone in the round. Burnett is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Burnett struggling a bit here. Takashi landing strikes. Burnett wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land. Burnett tries to escape but Takashi is in control. Takashi working the ground and pound. Takashi is chipping away with strikes.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Takashi lands a decent elbow from side control. Burnett tries to bench press Takashi off him but Takashi keeps the position. Takashi working the head and body with strikes.
Burnett is rocked! Burnett struggling a bit here. Burnett is still in real trouble! Can Takashi finish him? Burnett is working to avoid the ground and pound but Takashi connects with a decent elbow. Burnett looks gassed! Burnett is looking to regain half guard here but Takashi keeps moving and retains side control. Takashi in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Burnett is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
