The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
York fails with a takedown attempt.
Lavoie misses with a takedown attempt
and York counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

York is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

York has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Lavoie is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
