Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mark Hunt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Raymond Wannis! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Ben Zyskovitsi and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wannis instigates a clinch. Wannis unloads a knee to the mid-section. Hunt lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Hunt has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Wannis is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Hunt is trying to drag Wannis to the mat but Wannis just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Wannis lands an elbow inside that Hunt shrugs off.
It looks like Mark Hunt has been cut. Wannis lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Wannis misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Hunt.
Hunt drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Hunt. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hunt is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Wannis pulls him back up using the underhooks. Hunt drops down looking for an ankle pick but Wannis pulls his leg out and moves away.

Wannis misses with a takedown and Hunt counters with a nice double leg into side control. Wannis won't be happy with that.
