Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zak Warren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bruce Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Zak Warren!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Warren moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Nice takedown defense from Lee. No joy for Warren on that attempt.
Warren shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lee but Lee pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Lee keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Bruce Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zak Warren.
Lee tries to clinch but Warren is having none of it.
Warren is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Lee tries to close the distance and clinch but Warren swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Lee keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Warren tries to clinch there but Lee circles away.
Warren is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Warren shoots in looking for a takedown. Lee tries to sprawl out of it but Warren keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lee manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Warren looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Lee throws a head kick but Warren moves out of range.
Warren fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lee manages to avoid it.
Bruce Lee is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Lee fails with an attempt to clinch.

Warren closes the distance and clinches.
Lee tries for a takedown but Warren manages to get underhooks.

Lee escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Warren avoids the head kick by Lee.
Lee tries to clinch but Warren moves away

and Warren holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Lee tries to break the clinch but Warren is controlling the position.
Warren avoiding damage.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Warren as Lee tries to tie him up.
Warren tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Lee is trying to force a seperation but Warren has the dominant position.
Lee has had enough of the clinch but Warren keeps him there for the moment.

Warren breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Warren shoots in but Lee avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Lee lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

Lee has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Warren tries to pull guard but Lee won't allow it.
Lee is trying to break free.
Warren wants a takedown but no success here.
Warren wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Warren wants to stall.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Lee.
Lee prevents the takedown attempt.
Warren looks gassed!
Lee is looking to break free of the clinch but Warren has double underhooks.
Lee misses with a punch to the body.
Lee tries for a takedown. No joy.
Warren tries to throw a body punch but Lee avoids it by throwing Warren back against the cage.
Lee gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Warren.
Lee looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Lee pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Lee misses with a two punch combination.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Lee misses with a few strikes there.
Lee goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
No joy there for Lee, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Warren tries to keep at a distance but Lee has taken the fight into the clinch.

Lee breaks from the clinch.
Lee moves in looking to clinch but Warren pushes him off.
Lee tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Warren instigates a clinch.
Lee looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Warren has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Lee avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Warren drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Lee gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Warren tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Bruce Lee will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Warren is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Lee wants to break the clinch but can't.

Warren shoots in and drives through. Lee sprawls well.
Lee looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Lee throws the kick towards the body but Warren avoids it.
Lee fails to land with a series of punches.
Warren keeps the fight on the outside.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A jab lands there for Lee.
Warren takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Warren tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lee swivels and escapes.

Lee moves in looking to clinch but Warren pushes him off.
Warren dives in and grabs Lee's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lee pushes down on Warren's head and hops out.

and Warren counters with an inside leg kick.
Warren tries for a takedown but Lee sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Lee tries to clinch but Warren is having none of it.

Lee tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Warren paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Lee feints and then cracks Warren's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Warren down.
Warren throws a sloppy head kick and Lee moves out of range easily.
Lee tries a head kick but it misses.
Lee misses with a series of wild punches.
Some wild striking there from Warren.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Lee breaks from the clinch.
Warren tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Lee tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Warren counters with a two punch combo.
Lee misses with a double jab.
Lee closes the distance but Warren moves to the side

and Warren counters by moving into the clinch.

Warren breaks the clinch.
Lee cracks the inside of Warren's front leg.
Lee throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Lee wants to clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Lee lands a nice looking body kick.
Warren misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Lee throws a series of strikes that have Warren backpedaling.
Lee throws a head kick that misses.
Lee throws a nice looking combination but Warren bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Lee leaves Warren with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Lee has Warren up against the cage in a clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Lee's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Lee is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Lee has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Warren avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Warren is struggling to control the position.

Warren has picked Lee up - he's going for a ride! Warren dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Warren prevents Lee from standing back up.
Lee is staying active underneath Warren, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Lee manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Lee throws a one two combo.
Lee misses with a jab, cross combination.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Bruce Lee will probably get the nod.
That's time! Lee's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!



Warren instigates a clinch.

Warren breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lee tries to clinch up

and Warren holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Warren manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Lee wants to stand but Warren is controlling his posture from full guard.
Warren looking for a sweep. Not yet Warren, not yet.
Lee trying to stand up but can't free himself from Warren's guard.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Lee trying to stand up but can't free himself from Warren's guard.
Warren manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Lee manages to get himself to full guard.
Warren stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lee swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Warren advances position into side control!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Lee parries the strikes from Warren easily there. Warren is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Lee to escape.
Lee wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Warren tries to advance to mount but Lee denies him.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here.
Lee takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Bruce Lee is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Lee dodges the ground and pound from Warren.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

And that's the end of the fight!
Zak Warren comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Lee has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
