Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Seth Pizzaelli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Composure-August Burns Red. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Seth Pizzaelli! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johnny Johnson! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson doesn't manage to clinch there - Pizzaelli circles away.
Johnson tries to clinch but Pizzaelli moves out of range. Johnson wants to clinch. Pizzaelli drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Johnson is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Johnson throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
Pizzaelli trying to control the position but Johnson is working away. Johnson is trying to control Pizzaelli's posture but Pizzaelli avoids it. Pizzaelli scores with punches from side control. Pizzaelli is looking to take a break and control but Johnson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. You can see the frustration on Johnson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson is looking for a sweep. Pizzaelli working away. Johnson tries to improve position but can't. Pizzaelli works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Johnson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Pizzaelli wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Johnson prevents Pizzaelli from improving position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Pizzaelli throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Pizzaelli misses with a wild body shot. Pizzaelli circles away from the clinch attempt.
Johnson fails in his attempt to clinch. Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch but Pizzaelli swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Johnson is looking to clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Johnson with a poor takedown and Pizzaelli counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Pizzaelli. Pizzaelli showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Johnson has his foot on Pizzaelli's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Pizzaelli works his way back into a safe position though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pizzaelli is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Pizzaelli is breathing heavily. Johnson controlling Pizzaelli's posture. Pizzaelli advances position into side control! Johnson has control of an arm but Pizzaelli manages to advance to Pizzaelli's back! Pizzaelli missing with strikes from the back. Johnson wants to control his opponent's hands but Pizzaelli gets his hands free. Pizzaelli throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Johnson!
Pizzaelli doesn't have the hooks in and Johnson manages to turn into his guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Pizzaelli is on top in guard.

Johnson is looking for a triangle but Pizzaelli pushes his legs off easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Johnson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Pizzaelli gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Pizzaelli advances to half guard. Pizzaelli decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Johnson darts in trying to clinch and Pizzaelli counters with a single leg into guard. Johnson didn't expect that. Johnson controls Pizzaelli momentarily but Pizzaelli frees himself. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Pizzaelli with a flurry of punches that miss. Pizzaelli looking to pass the guard. Johnson wants to improve his position but instead Pizzaelli has moved into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Seth Pizzaelli dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Pizzaelli misses with a straight left. Pizzaelli throws a series of punches but Johnson avoids them all with ease. Johnson cracks the inside of Pizzaelli's front leg. Johnson wants to clinch and Pizzaelli counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Johnson is lucky that one didn't land flush. Pizzaelli throws a right hand that Johnson ducks under and follows up with a left that Johnson also avoids with ease. Pizzaelli throws a hook to the side of Johnson's head but Johnson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Johnson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Pizzaelli tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Johnson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pizzaelli.
Johnson lands a slapping body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson with a body punch. A glancing blow. Johnson explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Johnson tries to clinch but Pizzaelli moves away and Pizzaelli counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Pizzaelli. Johnson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Pizzaelli sitting in guard, not really doing much. Johnson looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Johnson lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Pizzaelli! Pizzaelli has left one of his arms exposed and Johnson doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Pizzaelli screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
