Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Big McGee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Francis kenneth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Big McGee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Francis kenneth! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Edson Gomes and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! kenneth fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
kenneth is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in McGee's half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. kenneth not doing much here.
kenneth takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. kenneth thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing McGee to regain full guard. kenneth got a little sloppy there for a moment and McGee has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, kenneth has managed to get both his arms back between McGee's legs - danger averted. kenneth trying to control the position from guard on top but McGee is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. McGee utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. McGee bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in kenneth's guard. McGee controls from within his opponent's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. McGee passes easily into side control. Nice work. McGee controls the position. McGee fails to land a wild elbow strike.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. McGee controlling from side mount. McGee has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McGee wants to control but kenneth is keeping him busy. McGee is staying tight to kenneth's torso, preventing him from escaping.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Big McGee just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. kenneth showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from McGee.
kenneth swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and McGee counters with a shoot takedown. kenneth fights it but they end up in guard. McGee controls from within his opponent's guard. McGee postures up in kenneth's guard and throws a big left but kenneth blocks it. McGee is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Big McGee dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
McGee shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches kenneth napping and manages to drive through into side control! McGee wants to control but kenneth is keeping him busy. kenneth tries to improve position but can't. McGee tries to score with some ground and pound. kenneth controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. McGee has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. kenneth stuffs the takedown.
That's one minute gone in the round. McGee has his takedown stuffed and kenneth counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. kenneth is breathing heavily. McGee pulls kenneth in close to prevent any damage. McGee keeping moving, preventing kenneth from controlling successfully. kenneth seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. McGee bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in kenneth's guard. McGee not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McGee postures up in kenneth's guard and throws a big left but kenneth blocks it. McGee is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. McGee advances to half guard. McGee slows the pace down in half guard. Big McGee overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McGee escapes and gets back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. McGee gets the takedown into side control. A lull in the action here as McGee stalls from top position. McGee working the head with strikes. McGee in side control, throwing shots but kenneth defends. McGee remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Big McGee dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
McGee looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for kenneth! McGee looking to control and managing it successfully. McGee sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
That's one minute gone in the round. McGee controlling the pace for now. kenneth takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Big McGee just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. kenneth misses with a body shot.
kenneth shoots in and bounces McGee off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. McGee controlling kenneth's posture. kenneth really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McGee. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. McGee is trying to control the position but kenneth postures up. McGee looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. McGee kicks kenneth off and gets to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. kenneth with a lazy takedown attempt and McGee counters with a nice double leg into side control. kenneth won't be happy with that. McGee throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. McGee decides to take the fight back to the feet. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. McGee tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. McGee drives through with a takedown into guard. McGee works a leg free and moves into half guard. McGee not landing any meaningful shots this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McGee is working for a submission of some sort.
Still in half guard, McGee seems content to control. McGee seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. kenneth is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:01 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Big McGee!
