Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Homicide Hurricane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zach Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miller has chosen Let The Bodies Hit The Floor as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Zach Miller! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Jonathan Paton and Reed Andrews.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Hurricane. Miller looks to move to half guard but instead Hurricane has passed into mount! Damn! Miller is looking to get to half guard. Miller tries to hold on but Hurricane pushes him away. Miller is desperately trying to improve his position but Hurricane has a good base and remains in mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Miller is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Miller is bucking up trying to escape but Hurricane cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Miller wants to control but Hurricane is having none of it. Miller really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Hurricane has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Miller's face.
Hurricane is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Miller to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Miller shrugs it off. Hurricane landing punches. Miller should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hurricane goes for an armbar but Miller turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Miller. Hurricane wants to sweep here but Miller controlling him for the moment.

Hurricane seems keen to control Miller's posture. Miller wanted to stand there but Hurricane had control of the position. Hurricane keeping moving, preventing Miller from controlling successfully.
Miller is trying to land a reversal but Hurricane doesn't like that idea too much. He pushed the legs to the side and dives into side control. He's managed to grab a loose arm triangle. Hurricane is tightening it up though! This could be trouble for Miller! Miller trying desperately to escape but he's gone limp! He's out! Wooooorld class Brazilian Jiu Jitsu from Hurricane!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Homicide Hurricane!
