Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Even Steven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandi Montague (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steven comes to the cage accompanied by Metallica-Enter Sandman. Brandi Montague will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steven misses the shot to the body.

Steven displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Montague.

Montague rushes Steven and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Montague has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Steven wants to break the clinch but can't.

Steven breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Steven looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Steven keeps the fight on the outside.
Steven gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Montague showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Steven.

Steven gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Montague drops back looking for a leg! Steven is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Steven manages to kick Montague off! Montague jumps back into Steven's guard.
Steven might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Steven is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Montague frees his head nicely. Oh but Steven has switched to an armbar! Montague is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
