Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Maximus Danek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aziz Hamedovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Sergei Dronov and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hamedovic fails with an attempt to clinch.
Hamedovic throws a right and a left that Danek avoids nicely.
Hamedovic tries to clinch up but Danek circles away and keeps his distance.
Hamedovic changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Danek looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Danek takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Hamedovic wants to stand but Danek has him controlled and pulls him back into his guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hamedovic accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Danek avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Hamedovic wants to control from the top but Danek keeps moving.

Danek wants to sweep here but Hamedovic controlling him for the moment.
Danek is working hard here to advance position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Danek tries for a takedown but Hamedovic sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

and Danek counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Danek drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Hamedovic dives on top into guard.

Danek thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Danek throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hamedovic works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

and Danek counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Danek.

Danek shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hamedovic sprawls well. Hamedovic wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Danek gets slowly back to his feet.

Aziz Hamedovic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Danek decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Hamedovic is looking to improve his position.

Danek drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Hamedovic manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Danek has Hamedovic in his guard.

Danek manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Danek wants to control the pace but Hamedovic is squirming around nicely.
Hamedovic tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Danek avoids the attempt from Hamedovic to control.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Danek can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hamedovic is looking to escape.
Danek looking to isolate an arm here. Hamedovic doesn't see it coming and as Danek extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Danek!
