Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Nikolai Volkov!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Felipe Paraventi and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Gracie.
Volkov tries to clinch but Gracie is having none of it.
Gracie fails with the takedown.

Gracie avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Volkov tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gracie swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Volkov avoids the head kick by Gracie.
Gracie pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Nikolai Volkov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Volkov digs a good hook to Gracie's body.
Gracie throws a sloppy head kick and Volkov moves out of range easily.
Volkov scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Gracie is breathing heavily.
Volkov connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Gracie tumbling to the canvas! Volkov pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Gracie was done - good stoppage!
