Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tiago Matias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Norris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tiago Matias! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Chuck Norris! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Leandro Rodrigues and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Matias drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Norris keeping moving, preventing Matias from controlling successfully. Matias wanted to stand there but Norris had control of the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Matias trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Matias throwing strikes but missing. Matias not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Matias's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Matias is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Norris is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Norris has escaped and now he's on top!
That's one minute gone in the round. Norris trying to control but Matias is working from the bottom. Norris preventing the sweep. Matias wants to stand up but Norris is controlling him. Matias keeping moving, preventing Norris from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Matias trying to keep a closed guard but Norris is proving a slippery customer.
Matias is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Norris trying to control the position from guard on top but Matias is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Norris tries to stand but Matias is controlling from the bottom.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Norris doesn't manage to clinch there - Matias circles away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Matias is looking to land body kicks. Norris wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Matias avoids the head kick by Norris.
Matias is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Norris. Matias fails to land the takedown.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Norris doesn't manage to clinch there - Matias circles away.
Matias shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Matias showed some decent athleticism there. Matias with the ground and pound but Norris uses the opportunity to regain guard. Matias trying to control the position from guard on top but Norris is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tiago Matias dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Matias fails with the takedown. Matias lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Norris circles away quickly and effectively. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Norris tries to clinch but Matias is having none of it. Norris stuffs the takedown attempt from Matias. Matias gets slowly back to his feet. Norris wants to clinch up but Matias keeps it at a distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Matias shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Norris as he avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tiago Matias. That's going to take a lot out of him. Norris tries to close the distance and clinch but Matias swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Chuck Norris is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Matias is looking to clinch. Norris throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Matias feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Norris's calf.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Matias misses with a body shot.
Norris throws a head kick but Matias moves out of range.
Matias closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Norris is trying to stand back up but Matias is controlling him
Matias is looking for a kimura here.
Matias looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Norris is trying to stand up here but Matias is controlling him well. Matias misses with a head shot. Norris uses the momentum to regain guard. Matias postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Matias trying to control but Norris is working from the bottom. Matias has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Matias is looking to work some ground and pound but Norris has wrist control.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Norris throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Tiago Matias seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Norris throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Matias feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Matias has gone for a leg lock! Norris slips out almost immediately though and dives into Matias's guard. Norris trying to control but Matias is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Tiago Matias will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Matias closes this distance looking for a takedown but Norris circles away. Norris avoids a kick to the body.
Norris leaves Matias with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A head kick by Norris - that's a beauty! Matias is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Norris can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
