Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Grey Guinzoo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Forrest Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Guinzoo might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Linkin Park - Faint. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Griffin closes the distance and clinches up with Guinzoo, looking for a takedown. Griffin pushes Guinzoo against the cage but Guinzoo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Griffin tries to clinch but Guinzoo moves out of range. Griffin shoots for a takedown but Guinzoo saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Guinzoo fails with a takedown attempt. Griffin fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Guinzoo sprawls well initially but Griffin persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Griffin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Guinzoo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Griffin tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Guinzoo. Griffin stops Guinzoo from getting back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Guinzoo is looking to improve his position.
Griffin looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Griffin uses his free foot to push down on Guinzoo's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Guinzoo. Griffin can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Guinzoo is looking to escape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Guinzoo is breathing heavily. Griffin throws some wild stikes that Guinzoo manages to avoid easily.
Guinzoo is desperately trying to improve his position but Griffin has a good base and remains in mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Guinzoo wants to hold on but Griffin pushes him away. Griffin trying to control but Guinzoo is having none of it. Griffin is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Griffin thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Griffin fails to take his opponent's back. Guinzoo is looking to get to half guard. Guinzoo is squirming around, avoiding Griffin's attempts to control the action. Guinzoo tries to hold on but Griffin postures up. Guinzoo really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Griffin tries to control but Guinzoo wriggling away. Griffin looking to finish with strikes here!
That's three minutes gone in the round. A nice elbow there by Griffin. Griffin wants to control the pace but Guinzoo is squirming around nicely. Griffin unloads with some shots from mount but Guinzoo bucks and avoids them well.
Griffin punching from mount but Guinzoo doing a good job of avoiding damage. Griffin is standing up, even though he is in mount. Guinzoo moves into the clinch. Griffin is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Guinzoo gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Grey Guinzoo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Forrest Griffin. Guinzoo prevents Griffin from breaking the clinch. Guinzoo stalling against the cage.
Griffin wants to break free but Guinzoo has control.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Guinzoo wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Guinzoo has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Griffin clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Guinzoo lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Griffin trying to control the action but Guinzoo just sinks the hooks in. Guinzoo cracks Griffin with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Griffin from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
Guinzoo is not going to allow Griffin to sit and survive in this position. Guinzoo is hanging on to Griffin's back as he tries to escape.
Can Griffin hold on?! Guinzoo is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Grey Guinzoo dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Griffin misses with a kick to the body.
Griffin gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Guinzoo counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Guinzoo. Griffin is trying to keep Guinzoo in close.
Guinzoo trying to control but Griffin is working from the bottom. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Griffin is on top in guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Griffin drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Griffin jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Guinzoo is pulling down on Griffin's head to control his posture. Guinzoo trying to keep a closed guard but Griffin is proving a slippery customer.
Guinzoo keeping moving, preventing Griffin from controlling successfully. Guinzoo manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Griffin is looking to improve his position but Guinzoo isn't that keen on the idea. Griffin tries to hold on but Guinzoo postures up. Griffin is looking to get to half guard. Guinzoo lands with some strikes. Griffin tries to hold on but Guinzoo pushes him away. Guinzoo trying to control but Griffin is having none of it. Guinzoo avoids the attempt from Griffin to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Guinzoo working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Griffin is desperately trying to improve his position but Guinzoo has a good base and remains in mount. BOOM! Guinzoo connects with a massive shot to the dome!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Griffin tries to hold on but Guinzoo pushes him away. Guinzoo is working to isolate an arm here. It's a choreographed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Guinzoo extends the arm and Griffin is forced to tap!
