Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bartley Gorman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bartley Gorman told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tommy Adams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Bartley Gorman! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Sam Margolis and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Adams looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Adams scoring with strikes to the body and head. Gorman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Adams. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Gorman on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gorman works his way to full guard. Good work. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Adams accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Adams is looking to work some ground and pound but Gorman has wrist control. Gorman controls Adams momentarily but Adams frees himself. Adams could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Adams is in close to Gorman's body, working some short punches and elbows. Adams is working Gorman over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Adams loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Adams is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Adams throwing strikes from guard but Gorman blocks nicely. Adams forces his way into half guard. Gorman tries to kick Adams off but Adams keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Adams is looking to advance position but Gorman won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Adams has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Gorman is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Adams lands a heavy elbow. Adams prevents Gorman from getting the reversal. Adams avoids the attempt from Gorman to control. Adams working away from the top, dropping strikes. Adams with good strikes from the mount here! Adams lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Gorman hang on? Adams dominating with strikes here. Adams lands a big shot there that rocks Gorman but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Adams is landing with some decent strikes but Gorman is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. A nice elbow there by Adams. Adams connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Adams landing strikes from the mount and Gorman is in trouble! Adams lands a big elbow. The referee warns Gorman that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Gorman is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Gorman looks gassed! Adams with the ground and pound from mount. Adams has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Adams scoring with strikes but Gorman is staying in there. Adams wants to control the pace but Gorman is squirming around nicely. Adams lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Adams has hold of Gorman's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Gorman manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Adams goes for an armbar but Gorman turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Gorman. Gorman would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gorman accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Gorman wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Adams's closed guard. He's half up but Adams has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Adams pivots and extends the arm, Gorman falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Adams! Well done that man!
