The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
cook has a takedown stuffed.
CPW misses with a jab, cross combination.
CPW missing with a left hand there. cook was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
CPW throws a combination. cook tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like ben cook has been cut.
CPW catches cook napping and connects with a big right hand that sends cook to the canvas!
cook is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
cook wants to sweep but no luck.
Oh cook is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
CPW avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
cook seems to have got his legs back now.

cook has his foot on CPW's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. CPW works his way back into a safe position though.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
cook wants to sweep but no luck.
cook bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in CPW's guard.
cook postures up and lands a big shot to CPW's brow.
CPW kicks cook off and gets to his feet.
A punch combination from CPW misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
CPW punishes cook's body with a nice straight punch.
CPW lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
CPW lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. cook is looking to close the distance but CPW sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! cook crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope cook is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
