The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jhonsson looks for a takedown but Puustinen sprawls well. Jhonsson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Puustinen scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Puustinen creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Puustinen tries for a kimura but Jhonsson is defending well. Puustinen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Puustinen is staying tight to Jhonsson's torso, preventing him from escaping. Jhonsson dodges the ground and pound from Puustinen. Puustinen wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jhonsson, who protects the arm well. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jhonsson's head. Puustinen not landing any meaningful shots this time. Puustinen seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Jhonsson wants to clinch but Puustinen slips to the side and Puustinen counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Puustinen is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Jhonsson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Puustinen manages to get himself to full guard.

And that's the end of the fight! Hermanni Puustinen showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Puustinen, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
