Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Todd Feager (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jerry Palmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Feager comes to the cage accompanied by Mudvayne-Dig. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Todd Feager! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jerry Palmer! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Palmer tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Feager paws at him with a jab and circles away. Feager looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Palmer tries to clinch up. Palmer will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Palmer fails with an attempt to clinch.

Palmer fails in his attempt to clinch. Feager misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Palmer fails to land the takedown. Todd Feager has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jerry Palmer. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Feager misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Palmer tries for a takedown but Feager circles away easily and Feager counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Palmer makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Palmer.
That's one minute gone in the round. Feager works a leg free and moves into half guard. Palmer is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Feager's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Feager's back! Palmer just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

Palmer tries to keep control of the position but Feager is staying busy. Palmer is looking for the choke from the back position but Feager is controlling his hands well. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Palmer working for the choke. Palmer is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Feager has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Feager tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Palmer is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Feager can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Feager could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Palmer working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Feager looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Palmer! Submission of the night perhaps?
