Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jesper Rush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Flakey Dryskin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rush's entrance music is Tom Sawyer - Rush. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jesper Rush!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Flakey Dryskin!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rush scores with the left hand. Dryskin knows he should have avoided that one.
A jab from Rush finds it's way through Dryskin's defenses.

Rush looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Dryskin!
Rush throws some wild stikes that Dryskin manages to avoid easily.
Dryskin avoids a series of strikes thrown by Rush.

Rush is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Dryskin is surviving well by controlling Rush's body position as best he can.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Rush cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Dryskin is desperately trying to improve his position but Rush has a good base and remains in mount.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Rush thowing shots but they're missing.
Rush landing strikes, looking to finish!
Rush lands a heavy elbow.

Rush moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Dryskin has worked his arm free - good work by Dryskin!

Dryskin is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Rush's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Dryskin tries to roll over but Rush keeps him under control.

Dryskin looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Dryskin on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Rush throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Rush has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Dryskin tries to land a front kick but Rush steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Dryskin fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Rush is out of range.
Dryskin throws a head kick but Rush moves out of range.
Rush takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Dryskin slips a jab and a cross from Rush.
Dryskin fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Rush cracks Dryskin with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

and Rush counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

and Rush counters with a takedown into side control.
Rush looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Dryskin is avoiding damage well.
Dryskin manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Rush throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Rush looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Dryskin with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Dryskin scores with a one two! Rush had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

and Rush counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Dryskin goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

and Rush counters by moving into the clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dryskin wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Dryskin is trying to force a seperation but Rush has the dominant position.

An uppercut to the body lands inside from Rush.
The referee is keeping an eye on Rush - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Rush lands a body punch.
Dryskin is looking to break free of the clinch but Rush has double underhooks.
Dryskin tries to circle away but Rush has him pinned against the cage.
Rush slowing the pace effectively.
Dryskin wants to break free but Rush has control.

Dryskin changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Rush fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Rush misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Dryskin.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Dryskin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Dryskin takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

That was a close second round but I would say that Jesper Rush will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


Rush lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Rush smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Dryskin misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rush.
Dryskin throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Rush on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Jesper Rush overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Dryskin takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Rush postures up and lands a big shot to Dryskin's brow.

Dryskin is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Rush is controlling him.
Rush trying to control the position from guard on top but Dryskin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Rush looking to sit in guard and control but Dryskin gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Rush has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dryskin can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Dryskin loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Rush slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Jesper Rush is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Rush is standing up over Dryskin. Dryskin looks to escape but Rush dives into side control.
Flakey Dryskin has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Dryskin is looking for a sweep.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Rush, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
