Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Default Fighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adrian Blanchard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blanchard has chosen "Bull's on Parade" by Rage Against the Machine as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Adrian Blanchard has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Default Fighter's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Default Fighter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Adrian Blanchard! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Leandro Rodrigues and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fighter changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Blanchard tries to avoid it but Fighter manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Blanchard to the ground. Blanchard escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Fighter fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Blanchard gets in close and instigates a clinch. Fighter is trying to break free. Fighter dodges an elbow strike from Blanchard.
Blanchard creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. A knee to the head by Fighter.
Fighter creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Fighter tries to land knees in the clinch but Blanchard avoids the damage to the body. Blanchard throws a knee to the head but misses.
Both guys are working to get underhooks. Fighter lands with a light punch inside. Fighter takes an elbow to the forehead.
It looks like Default Fighter has been cut. Fighter using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Blanchard has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

A short left from Blanchard. Fighter stalling in the clinch but Blanchard improves position. Blanchard changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Fighter fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Blanchard feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Fighter is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Blanchard trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Fighter bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Blanchard's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blanchard scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Fighter fails with the takedown and Blanchard counters by clinching up. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Default Fighter. That's going to take a lot out of him. Blanchard managing to block the knees to the body from Fighter.
Blanchard lands a damaging elbow. Blanchard misses with a knee strike.
Fighter tries for a takedown but Blanchard manages to get underhooks.
Fighter is breathing heavily. Fighter wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Blanchard is working for takedown but Fighter is calmly controlling the position for now. Blanchard throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Blanchard looking to slow down the pace here. Fighter is pressed up against the cage. Blanchard has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Fighter down to the mat. Fighter avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Fighter fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Blanchard sprawls well initially but Fighter persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Fighter wants to work for an arm triangle but Blanchard is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Fighter will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Fighter stands up and beckons Blanchard to join him on the feet. Fighter shoots and misses and Blanchard counters by clinching up. Fighter lands a takedown into guard.
Fighter slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fighter wants to control from the top but Blanchard keeps moving. Fighter postures up and lands a big shot to Blanchard's brow. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Fighter throwing strikes but missing. Fighter working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Blanchard's head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fighter stops Blanchard from standing up. Fighter gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Fighter tries to clinch but fails miserably and Blanchard holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Fighter content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Fighter unloads a knee to the mid-section. Blanchard lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Fighter lands a hook to the side of the head. A short right from Fighter on the inside. Blanchard tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter tries to throw a body punch but Blanchard avoids it by throwing Fighter back against the cage. Blanchard looking for a takedown. Blanchard throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Fighter blocks it with crossed arms. Fighter blocks an elbow strike. Blanchard misses with a knee strike.
Blanchard lands a left hand that snaps the head of Fighter backwards. Fighter is fighting off a takedown attempt but Blanchard is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Fighter to the mat. Fighter regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Blanchard gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Blanchard tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Fighter paws at him with a jab and circles away. Fighter with a poor takedown and Blanchard counters by clinching up. Blanchard lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Fighter makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. A bit of stalling here from Fighter.
Fighter scores with a shot to the side of Blanchard's head. Fighter escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Fighter has closed the distance and engaged Blanchard in a clinch.
Fighter connects with a massive knee from the clinch and Blanchard goes down! Fighter jumps into full mount looking to finish!
Blanchard is rocked!
It looks like Adrian Blanchard has been cut. Fighter looking for a guillotine from mount but Blanchard is having none of it. Blanchard is still in real trouble! Can Fighter finish him? Blanchard tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Blanchard seems to have recovered his senses. Blanchard is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Fighter has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Blanchard is trying to stand up. Fighter lands a heavy elbow. Blanchard is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Blanchard tries to reverse the position but Fighter maintains control. Fighter cracks Blanchard with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Blanchard tries to get back to half guard but can't. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Fighter is in the full mount, landing strikes. Blanchard is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Fighter unloading with bombs! Fighter working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Blanchard is squirming around, avoiding Fighter's attempts to control the action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Default Fighter dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
A head kick by Fighter - that's a beauty! Blanchard is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Fighter can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Default Fighter!
