Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Edgar Wizard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Meacham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meacham throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Meacham shoots in for a takedown but Wizard shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Meacham looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Wizard!

Meacham swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Wizard is now in Meacham's guard. A big mistake from Meacham there, giving up the dominant position!

Meacham working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wizard doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wizard manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wizard postures up in Meacham's guard and throws a big left but Meacham blocks it.
Wizard lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Meacham has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Wizard can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Wizard is looking to work some ground and pound but Meacham has wrist control.

Wizard is sitting in close to Meacham's body. Meacham has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Wizard is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Wizard is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Meacham.
