The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donovan throws a quick head kick that skims the top of princeton's head.

princeton darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
princeton slips a nice elbow through Donovan's hands, connecting with Donovan's forehead.
princeton drops an elbow to the side of Donovan's head.
princeton works his way into full mount!
You get the feeling that Donovan really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Donovan is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
princeton scores with a couple of good head shots there.

princeton is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Donovan is surviving well by controlling princeton's body position as best he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
