Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Manhoef (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Zimmerman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Joseph Jones and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manhoef misses with a looping left.
Manhoef throws out a leg kick but Zimmerman moves out of range and Manhoef only half commits.
Zimmerman avoids the head kick by Manhoef.
A head kick misses from Manhoef.
Zimmerman scores with a takedown into Manhoef's guard.
Zimmerman avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Manhoef being controlled here, momentarily.
Zimmerman slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Zimmerman tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Zimmerman wants to lay and pray for a moment but Manhoef keeps working.

Manhoef is looking to regain half guard here but Zimmerman keeps moving and retains side control.
Zimmerman tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Zimmerman has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Zimmerman tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Zimmerman thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Manhoef gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Zimmerman has control of Manhoef's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Manhoef regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Zimmerman looks gassed!
Manhoef tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Zimmerman is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Manhoef has managed to escape the submission attempt.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Manhoef wants to hold on but Zimmerman pushes him away.
Manhoef really wants to buck Zimmerman off and get back to his feet.
Manhoef is trying to escape the mount.
Zimmerman wants to control the pace but Manhoef is squirming around nicely.
Zimmerman blocks Manhoef's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Manhoef is looking to get to half guard.
Zimmerman moves to the back.
Manhoef can't escape the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Zimmerman is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Manhoef has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Zimmerman has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Manhoef taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Zimmerman doesn't care though - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Robert Zimmerman!
