Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Bruno Hogan and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ali takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Sokrat Spatium seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ali closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Ali tries to pass to full mount but Spatium defends it.

Ali shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Spatium manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Ali could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Ali is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Ali stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Spatium swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Spatium is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Ali dives into side control.

Ali stands up and beckons Spatium to his feet.
Spatium throws a head kick but Ali moves out of range.

Ali fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Spatium sprawls well initially but Ali persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Spatium tries to kick Ali off in order to stand up. Ali Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

Spatium pushes Ali away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Ali gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Spatium has left one of his arms exposed and Ali doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Spatium screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
