The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ingrahm takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Vera takes a swing at Ingrahm's ribcage but misses.
Ingrahm slips a jab and a cross from Vera.
Vera misses with an attempted mid kick.

Vera throws a head kick that misses.

Vera throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Vera cracks the inside of Ingrahm's front leg.
Vera swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Michael Vera seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ingrahm takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Vera throws a sloppy head kick and Ingrahm moves out of range easily.

Vera misses with a takedown attempt - Ingrahm sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Vera ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Vera throws a big shot that misses.
Ingrahm wants to clinch.
A combination from Vera does no damage.
Ingrahm is looking to clinch.
Vera throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Vera pushes Ingrahm away with a front kick.
Ingrahm closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Ingrahm lands in his opponent's guard.
Ingrahm preventing the sweep.

Ingrahm is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Vera looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ingrahm is one step ahead there.
Ingrahm trying to control but Vera is working from the bottom.
Ingrahm might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Vera kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ingrahm pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Vera is keeping the position for now.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Vera tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Ingrahm chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Vera can pounce on him.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Ingrahm wants to clinch.
Ingrahm takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Michael Vera is winning the standup battle so far.
Vera connects with a high kick.
Vera throws a head kick but Ingrahm moves out of range.
Whack! Vera lands a heavy head kick that drops Ingrahm. The ref tackles Vera to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Ingrahm was done.
