Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kunwa Jiki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Big Boy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kunwa Jiki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Big Boy!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Saam Ante and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jiki fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Boy sprawls well initially but Jiki persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Jiki thows a huge punch but Boy dodges it nicely.
Jiki landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Jiki is trying to work for a kimura but Boy is defending well.
Boy is looking for a sweep. Jiki is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Jiki seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Boy does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Kunwa Jiki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boy stuffs the takedown attempt from Jiki. Jiki gets slowly back to his feet.
Boy fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jiki manages to avoid it.

Jiki takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Boy looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jiki with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Jiki is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Boy jumps into side control!
The strikes coming from Boy are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Jiki tries to buck Boy off but Boy is having none of it.
Boy throws an elbow but Jiki slips to the side and avoids it well.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Boy misses with a jab, cross combination.
Boy thows a body shot but no joy.
Jiki darts in trying to clinch
and Boy counters with a single leg into guard. Jiki didn't expect that.

Boy postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Boy has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Jiki closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Boy has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jiki can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Boy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jiki swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Jiki, as that shot connected.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Jiki wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Boy drops back, looking for a kneebar! Jiki looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Jiki looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Jiki!
