Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Trey Cobb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeff Scoop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Trey Cobb! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jeff Scoop! The judges for this bout are , and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cobb moves forwards but Scoop connects with a nice, crisp jab. Scoop tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Scoop doesn't manage to clinch there - Cobb circles away.
Cobb fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Scoop avoids it really well and circles away. Cobb changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Scoop tries to avoid it but Cobb manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Scoop to the ground. Scoop escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Cobb throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Scoop was covering up waiting for the punch and Cobb finishes the takedown easily into guard. Scoop wants to sweep here but Cobb controlling him for the moment. Scoop looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round. Cobb is pushing down on Scoop's leg trying to pass to half guard. Scoop is fighting to maintain full guard but Cobb has managed to sneak the leg through. Scoop wants to sweep but Cobb has passed to side control! Cobb is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Scoop knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Scoop trying his best to control but Cobb has mounted him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cobb looking for a guillotine from mount but Scoop is having none of it. Scoop tries to get back to half guard but can't. Cobb looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Cobb wants to finish this one by submission but Scoop is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Cobb. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Scoop is trying to escape the mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Scoop tries to improve his position but Cobb has taken his back! Cobb has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Scoop tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Cobb pushes Scoop away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Trey Cobb!
