Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Keijo Sardiini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pasi Rauha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sardiini comes to the cage accompanied by We Are The Kings. Rauha has chosen Age of Aquarius as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Keijo Sardiini! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Pasi Rauha! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Robert Douchet and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sardiini throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Sardiini moves out of range of the strikes. Sardiini throws a lazy right hand but Rauha sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Rauha tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sardiini was well out of range. Poor timing from Rauha. Sardiini lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Sardiini shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Rauha keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Sardiini. Sardiini tried to score with a low kick but Rauha checks it. Rauha looks to land a right hand but Sardiini moved out of range. Rauha decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Sardiini slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Rauha's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Rauha scoring with some ground and pound. Sardiini utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Sardiini working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Rauha.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rauha postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Rauha preventing the sweep. Sardiini avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rauha throwing strikes but missing. Sardiini is looking for a triangle but Rauha pushes his legs off easily.
Rauha lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Rauha with a flurry of punches that miss. Sardiini looking to control.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Rauha's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Rauha has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Rauha thows a big elbow that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sardiini is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sardiini looking to control.
Sardiini looking for a guillotine here but Rauha defends easily.
Rauha throws a big right hand that misses. Sardiini trying to keep a closed guard but Rauha is proving a slippery customer.
Rauha trying to control the position from guard on top but Sardiini is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. The fighters circle momentarily. Sardiini darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Rauha walks into a straight right hand from Sardiini. Rauha pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Sardiini - that will leave a mark!
Sardiini tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rauha was well out of range. Poor timing from Sardiini. Sardiini keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Sardiini is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Nice takedown defense from Sardiini. No joy for Rauha on that attempt. Sardiini swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Keijo Sardiini is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Sardiini lands a nice looking body shot.
Rauha looks gassed!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sardiini jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A jab from Sardiini does it's job there. Sardiini misses with a body shot.
Sardiini uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Rauha has time to react.
Rauha is rocked!
It looks like Pasi Rauha has been cut. Rauha tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Sardiini swivels and escapes. Rauha is still on wobbly legs! Can Sardiini finish him? Sardiini lands a glancing blow to the side of Rauha's head. Sardiini drops Rauha with a straight right hand, right on the button! Sardiini follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Keijo Sardiini!
