The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Some wild striking there from Starsmore.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Honda jabs at Starsmore's body. Starsmore takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Honda fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Starsmore looks gassed! Honda thumps Starsmore with a low kick. Edmond Honda seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Honda looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Starsmore! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Honda sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Honda wants to control the pace but Starsmore is squirming around nicely. Honda looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Honda raining down shots from the mount! The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Honda landing strikes from the mount. Starsmore flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Honda anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Starsmore and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Honda slips an arm under Starsmore chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Honda has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Honda is squeezing on Starsmore like an anaconda would it's prey. Starsmore fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
