Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roy Slapforce (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Roy Slapforce! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jay Steel! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Seu Braga and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Slapforce darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Slapforce sitting and controlling from the half guard. Steel trying to control but Slapforce postures up.
Steel wants to get back to his feet.

Slapforce wants to take a breather but Steel is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Steel is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Slapforce's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Slapforce's back! Slapforce wants to escape the position.
Steel misses with a punch to the head. Steel is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Slapforce is defending well though. Steel let's go of the attempt for now. Steel is not going to allow Slapforce to sit and survive in this position. Steel is looking for the choke from the back position but Slapforce is controlling his hands well. Slapforce has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. Slapforce trying to control the hands but Steel won't let him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Slapforce is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. What can Slapforce do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Steel is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Slapforce up.
Slapforce might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Slapforce holding both Steel 's hands and preventing any damage. Slapforce wants to escape the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Steel controls the position. Let's hope that Steel has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Steel is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Slapforce trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Slapforce prevents Steel from getting a body triangle. Slapforce is taking damage to the body and head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Steel has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Slapforce! Can he survive? No! He's out! Steel gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
