Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Andre Moraes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jay Kim will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Andre Moraes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jay Kim! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Winston Howard and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kim moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. A jab from Kim finds it's way through Moraes's defenses. Moraes bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Moraes takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Kim scores with a punch to the head. The fighters circle momentarily. Kim darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Kim darts in and out, connecting with a jab. A nice combination there by Kim.
Kim lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Good standup being displayed there by Kim as he connects with a hook. Kim fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Moraes looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Kim lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Kim jabs at Moraes's body. Moraes ducks right into an uppercut from Kim. Moraes on the wrong end of a nice hook. Moraes with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Kim to score with a decent uppercut. Kim lands with a shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kim lands a jab to the nose. Kim misses with a few strikes there.
Jay Kim seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Moraes looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kim is fending him off so far but Moraes persists. Nope, Kim circles away and we're back to standing. Moraes doesn't manage to clinch there - Kim circles away.

Moraes changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kim tries to avoid it but Moraes manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kim to the ground. Kim escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Kim throws a right hand that Moraes ducks under and follows up with a left that Moraes also avoids with ease. Moraes takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Moraes ducks right into an uppercut from Kim. Moraes tries to move into range but Kim moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Kim is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Moraes ducks right into an uppercut from Kim. Kim connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Moraes's hands. Moraes looks to throw the jab but Kim is out of range. Kim might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Kim ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Kim digs a good hook to Moraes's body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kim clobbers Moraes with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Moraes on the wrong end of a nice hook. Kim connects with a looping right hand.
Moraes tries to clinch there but Kim circles away.
Kim connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Kim takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Kim connects with a crisp jab. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Moraes shoots in for a double leg but Kim sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andre Moraes. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kim connects with a single shot there. Moraes shoots for a double leg takedown but Kim sprawls well. He's pushed Moraes's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Moraes clinches up with Kim and pushes him back against the cage. Moraes wants the takedown. Kim is fighting it off but Moraes persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Kim's guard against the cage. Kim is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Kim really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Moraes. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Moraes wants to pass the guard but Kim is keeping the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kim wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Moraes wants to control from the top but Kim keeps moving. Kim looking to hit a scissor sweep but Moraes is one step ahead there. Moraes drops back looking for a leg! Kim is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kim manages to kick Moraes off! Moraes jumps back into Kim's guard. Moraes is breathing heavily. Moraes drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Kim manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Moraes has Kim in his guard. Kim seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Moraes is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Moraes might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Kim trying to stand up but can't free himself from Moraes's guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kim seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jay Kim dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Kim punishes Moraes's body with a nice straight punch. Kim scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Moraes doesn't seem bothered though. Kim wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Kim scores to the head and body with a nice combination! A punch lands to the side of Moraes 's head but he takes it in his stride. Moraes takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Moraes takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Kim swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Moraes. Moraes throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kim's waist but Kim gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Moraes off to one side. Kim throws a shot to the body.
Kim works over Moraes's head and body with a nice combination. No luck with that takedown attempt from Moraes. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Moraes is looking to clinch. Moraes looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Moraes takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Jay Kim seems to be getting the better of the standup. Kim throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Moraes on the side of the head. Kim lands a jab to the nose. Kim scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Moraes ducks right into an uppercut from Kim. Kim throws a shot to the body.

Kim paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Kim bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Moraes's head. A lazy left from Kim finds it's target. Kim moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kim lunges at Moraes with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Moraes's hand. Decent striking displayed by Kim there. Good standup being displayed there by Kim as he connects with a hook. Kim bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kim sizes up Moraes with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Kim lands a jab to Moraes's midsection. Jab, jab by Kim - just one landing. Kim scores with a one two! Moraes had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Kim works over Moraes's head and body with a nice combination. Kim ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Moraes takes a shot right to the bread basket. Moraes takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Kim thuds a left hand into Moraes's body.

That could be painful for both fighters. Moraes walks into a left hand. Kim scores with a punch to the head. Kim scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Moraes doesn't seem bothered though. Moraes takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Kim has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Kim lands with an overhand left. Kim scores with a nice head shot. Jab from Kim. Kim fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Kim with a body punch. A glancing blow. Moraes has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kim finds it's way round the side to connect with Moraes's head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kim connects with a crisp jab. Jay Kim is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Kim lands a jab-cross combination.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Moraes takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Kim scores with a body shot.
Kim scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Nice shot by Kim. Moraes takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Kim tests Moraes's chin there with a solid looking shot. Kim lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Kim's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Kim duly obliges. Danga de danga de dang - Kim scores with a four punch combination! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jay Kim showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Andre Moraes is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Kim cracks a nice hook into Moraes's ribs. Good shot there by Kim. Kim lands a head shot. A jab lands there for Kim. Moraes shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kim pinned against the cage. Kim gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Kim digs a good body shot into Moraes's ribs. Kim stuns Moraes with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Moraes takes a body punch but keeps moving. Moraes takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Moraes walks into a straight right hand from Kim. A lazy left from Kim finds it's target. Jay Kim is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kim cracks Moraes with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Left hook, right uppercut from Kim. Moraes tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kim swats him away and circles back towards the center. Kim lands a jab to Moraes's midsection. A jab from Kim does it's job there. Kim throws a good cross that connects.

Kim throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Moraes has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Moraes there as he acknowledges the shot. Kim scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Moraes doesn't seem bothered though. Kim paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Kim uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Moraes has time to react.

Kim is working the combinations to good effect here. Kim fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. This has been an exciting period of action! Kim takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Kim lands a jab. Moraes walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Kim cracks Moraes with a good jab. Kim scores with a jab. Kim scores to the head and body with a nice combination! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Kim dips to his left and cracks Moraes with an uppercut! Kim lands a jab-cross combination. Andre Moraes has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kim scores with a punch to the head.
And that's the end of the fight! Jay Kim comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Kim winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
