Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Manuel Espero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gendry Snow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Snow has chosen Burn Out as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Gendry Snow enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Manuel Espero!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Gendry Snow!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Donatello Bradman and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Espero swats away the attempt to clinch by Snow.
Espero misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Espero moves out of range as Snow throws a body kick.
Snow stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Espero.

Snow clinches.
Snow is trying to break the clinch but Espero has him pressed against the cage.

Snow drags the fight down to the ground.
Espero is looking to work some ground and pound but Snow has wrist control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Snow is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Espero is controlling him.
Espero wants to pass the guard but Snow is keeping the position.
Espero postures up in Snow's guard and throws a big left but Snow blocks it.
Snow looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
A nice leg kick lands there from Espero.
Gendry Snow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Espero connects with a crisp jab.
Snow throws a right hand that Espero ducks under and follows up with a left that Espero also avoids with ease.

Espero tries to keep at a distance but Snow has taken the fight into the clinch.

Snow pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Snow dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Espero looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Espero fails to pull guard.

Espero is trying to break the clinch but Snow is controlling him.

Espero misses with a hook to the ribs.
Snow prevents a takedown attempt there.
Snow will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Espero up against the cage.
A nice left hand lands by Snow.
Snow stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Snow jumps guard and drags Espero to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Snow is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Espero to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Espero shrugs it off.

Espero changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Snow fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Snow dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Snow wriggles free and stands up.
Snow lands a right hook to the body.
Snow lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Espero backs up against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Snow escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Snow lands a two punch combo.
Snow rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Espero moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Espero showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Snow.
Gendry Snow is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Snow stalks Espero and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Espero's face. Espero staggers backwards, shaken.

Snow throws a sloppy head kick and Espero moves out of range easily.

Espero shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Let's hope that Snow has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Despite being in the dominant position, Gendry Snow just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Snow lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Gendry Snow comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Snow has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
