Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyson Austin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joakim Sjunnesson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tyson Austin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Joakim Sjunnesson!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paul Aken and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sjunnesson gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Sjunnesson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Austin thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Sjunnesson wants to sweep here but Austin controlling him for the moment.
Sjunnesson looks gassed!
Austin content to stall in guard here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sjunnesson keeping moving, preventing Austin from controlling successfully.
Austin looking to sit in guard and control but Sjunnesson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Sjunnesson is stalling in the full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Austin is looking for a triangle but Sjunnesson pushes his legs off easily.
Austin preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Austin keeping moving, preventing Sjunnesson from controlling successfully.
Austin trying to control the position.
Austin is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Sjunnesson is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Sjunnesson trying to control but Austin is working from the bottom.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Austin looks to land a combination but Sjunnesson avoids it well.
Austin fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Sjunnesson avoids it really well and circles away.
Austin scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Austin shoots in and bounces Sjunnesson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Sjunnesson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Austin manages to get himself to full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Austin is trying to control the position but Sjunnesson postures up.
Sjunnesson trying to control the position from guard on top but Austin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Austin can't keep his opponent in guard - Sjunnesson advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sjunnesson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Austin does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Sjunnesson is working for a submission of some sort.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Sjunnesson is stalling here. Austin is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Sjunnesson seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Austin has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Austin is looking to take a break and control but Sjunnesson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Sjunnesson is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Sjunnesson is trying to escape the position but Austin is controlling the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tyson Austin dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Austin looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Austin is trying to control the action in half guard but Sjunnesson is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
