Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between George Hust (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maurice Kilmers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for George Hust has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, George Hust! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Maurice Kilmers! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Daniel Bishop and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kilmers slips a jab and a cross from Hust.
Hust tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kilmers swats him away and circles back towards the center. The fighters circling - Hust throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Hust scores with a jab. Hust throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hust looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Hust scores with a crisp jab that stopped Kilmers in his tracks. Kilmers showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Hust.
Hust shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Hust fails in his attempt to clinch. The crowd cheers as Hust lands an impressive looking overhand right. Kilmers doesn't seem phased though. Kilmers circles away from the clinch attempt.
Hust thows a body shot but no joy. Kilmers fails to land with a series of punches.

That's one minute gone in the round. Hust misses with a double jab
and Kilmers counters by clinching up. Hust drops down looking for an ankle pick but Kilmers pulls his leg out and moves away.
Kilmers decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Kilmers wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hust keeps working. Kilmers is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Hust makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! The fighters circling - Kilmers throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kilmers slips a jab from Hust. Hust tries for a takedown but Kilmers circles away easily and Kilmers counters with a stiff right hand. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for George Hust. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hust doesn't succeed with the takedown and Kilmers counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kilmers wants to control from the top but Hust keeps moving. Kilmers trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Kilmers trying to control but Hust is working from the bottom. Hust is looking to stand up but Kilmers isn't so interested in that idea. Hust is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kilmers preventing the sweep. Kilmers tries to free his leg and advance position but Hust is retaining full guard. Hust is looking to stand up but Kilmers isn't so interested in that idea.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Hust with a poor takedown and Kilmers counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Hust's guard now. Hust can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kilmers controls the pace. Hust keeping moving, preventing Kilmers from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kilmers stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hust swivels though and keeps the full guard. Kilmers passes Hust's left leg - he's now in half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kilmers is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hust is just riding it out for now. Kilmers eventually gives up the hold. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Maurice Kilmers dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Kilmers takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Hust clinches up with Kilmers and pushes him back against the cage. Kilmers pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Kilmers lands a head shot. Hust throws a left and a right that both miss
and Kilmers counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Hust has a takedown stuffed. Kilmers scores with a jab. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Nice defenses there by Hust. A big left from Kilmers misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hust throws a series of punches but Kilmers avoids them all with ease. Jab by Kilmers. Hust takes one on the button. Hust thows a left - swing and a miss! Hust misses with a body shot.
Hust throws a combination that misses enabling Kilmers to counter with a crisp jab. Hust looks to land a right hand but Kilmers moved out of range. Hust throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kilmers stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Hust misses with an attempted mid kick.
Hust swings and misses with a shot to the body and Kilmers counters with a stiff right hand. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hust staying out of range there. Hust slips under a jab. Kilmers misses with a hook. Hust ducked under it nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kilmers connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. George Hust seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hust ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kilmers moves away. Kilmers takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Nice cross by Kilmers. Hust misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Hust. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Hust misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kilmers.
Kilmers misses with an uppercut. Hust saw that one coming. Kilmers doesn't manage to clinch there - Hust circles away.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Hust can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kilmers controls the pace. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hust keeping full guard, as Kilmers tries to pass. Hust keeping moving, preventing Kilmers from controlling successfully. Kilmers sitting in guard, not really doing much. Kilmers tries to free his leg and advance position but Hust is retaining full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Hust is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kilmers is controlling him.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Kilmers instigates a clinch. Kilmers breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Maurice Kilmers seems to be getting the better of the standup. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hust swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Hust has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Hust thows a left - swing and a miss! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Maurice Kilmers showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Kilmers bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Kilmers misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Maurice Kilmers has got the better of the ground game so far. Hust is pushing Kilmers's head away, looking to escape. Kilmers manages to hold on to the position though. Kilmers tries to advance to mount but can't. You can see the frustration on Hust's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Kilmers passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Hust! Kilmers landing strikes, looking to finish! Both fighters are breathing heavily. Hust is desperately trying to improve his position but Kilmers has a good base and remains in mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kilmers tries to control but Hust wriggling away. Hust is trying to stand up. Kilmers sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Kilmers lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Kilmers goes for an armbar but Hust turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Hust. Kilmers is pulling down on Hust's head to control his posture. Maurice Kilmers is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kilmers tries to land a sweep but no joy. Kilmers is trying to control the position but Hust postures up. Hust trying to control the position from guard on top but Kilmers is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kilmers has his hands on Hust's head, controlling the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kilmers looking for a sweep. Not yet Kilmers, not yet. Hust tries to stand but Kilmers is controlling from the bottom. Kilmers wants to sweep here but Hust controlling him for the moment. Hust has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Hust displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. George Hust has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Hust lands a slapping body shot.
Hust tries to land a front kick but Kilmers steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Hust. Hust throws a leg kick that misses. Hust misses with a looping right. Hust is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kilmers. Kilmers lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Hust throws a lazy right hand but Kilmers sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Kilmers shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Hust falls off balance throwing a combination
and Kilmers counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Kilmers might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Kilmers misses with a double jab.
No joy there for Kilmers, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

And that's the end of the fight! Maurice Kilmers comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Kilmers has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
