Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bob Crapp!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Steve Palacios!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palacios takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Palacios tries to move into range but Crapp moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.


It looks like Steve Palacios has been cut.
Crapp keeps Palacios at a distance using the push kick.
Nice combo by Crapp! Oh, that's hurt him - Palacios falls to the canvas and Crapp follows him into side control.


Palacios is rocked!
Palacios is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Crapp is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Palacios is still in real trouble! Can Crapp finish him?
Crapp throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Palacios because Crapp loaded up on that one.
Palacios can't escape the position.
Palacios seems to have recovered his senses.
Palacios looks gassed!
Crapp tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment.
Palacios is looking to get to half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Palacios bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Palacios wants to pass the guard but Crapp is keeping the position.
Crapp wants to stand and escape but Palacios is having none of it.

Palacios drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Crapp manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Palacios has Crapp in his guard.

Palacios looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Palacios working for submissions but it's allowed Crapp to get to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Crapp tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
The fighters are battling for position here. Palacios manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Crapp trying to control the position from guard on top but Palacios is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Palacios has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Palacios lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Crapp!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Palacios fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Crapp defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Palacios.
Crapp squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Crapp is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Crapp wants to control but Palacios is having none of it.
Palacios looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Palacios wants to control but instead Crapp manages to regain half guard.
Crapp gets full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Crapp is looking to stand up but Palacios isn't so interested in that idea.
Palacios slips nicely into half guard.
Palacios wants to pass to mount but Crapp is defending the position.
Palacios stalling away here and it's allowed Crapp to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Crapp has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Palacios off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Crapp!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Crapp moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Crapp throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Palacios avoids the head kick by Crapp.

Palacios shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Crapp's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Crapp is looking to stand up but Palacios isn't so interested in that idea.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bob Crapp dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Steve Palacios's cut.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Crapp throws a nice looking combination but Palacios bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Crapp lands a head kick that stumbles Palacios and the fighters go to the mat.
Palacios tries to strike from the bottom.
Crapp postures up.
Crapp won't allow Palacios to sweep him here.

Palacios throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Palacios looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Crapp would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Palacios is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Crapp won't allow Palacios to sweep him here.

Crapp is posturing up here but Palacios has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Crapp tries to roll out but it's too tight and Crapp has to tap! Slick submission there by Palacios!
