Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Greg Doyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eli Gull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gull ducks under a wild hook from Doyle. Doyle misses the jab. Gull changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Doyle looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Doyle is trying to improve his position. Doyle struggling a bit here. An elbow from Gull crashes against the mat.
Doyle prevents Gull from moving into mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gull is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Doyle's shoulder. That is not cool. Gull wants to lay and pray for a moment but Doyle keeps working. Gull throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gull is looking to take a break and control but Doyle is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. A shot to de liver by Gull. Beautiful body shot. Doyle keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Gull cracks Doyle with an open hand slap. Doyle lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Gull moves away from the strike by Doyle. Doyle blocks a low kick nicely. Doyle uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gull.
Gull takes a swing at Doyle's ribcage but misses. Gull throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Doyle sees it coming and avoids it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A leg kick checked by Gull. Gull misses with a wild body shot. A swing and a miss from Gull. Gull tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Doyle was well out of range. Poor timing from Gull. Doyle keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Gull moves out of range of the strikes. Doyle connects with a good right hand that stumbles Gull. Gull circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Doyle avoids the body shot from Gull.
Doyle misses with a kick to the body.
Gull tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Gull looks to land a right hand but Doyle moved out of range. Gull looks to score with a jab to the body but Doyle is just out of range. Doyle throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Gull gets a takedown into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Doyle is concentrating on defense, preventing Gull from advancing position. Doyle wants to get back to full guard. Gull throws a strike but Doyle avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Gull is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Doyle is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Doyle has escaped and now he's on top! Doyle wants to control from the top but Gull keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Gull has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Doyle can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Doyle is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Gull keeping full guard, as Doyle tries to pass. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eli Gull dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Doyle throws a body punch but Gull moves out of range. Doyle throws a jab when Gull was well out of range. Doyle misses with a looping left. Doyle avoids a punch combination nicely.
Gull takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Doyle looks to score with a jab to the body but Gull is just out of range. A swing and a miss from Doyle. Gull misses with the combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gull swings for the body but Doyle moves out of range.
Doyle lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Doyle. A swing and a miss from Gull. Gull is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Doyle rather than just go for the knockout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Doyle scoring well with a low kick there.
Doyle avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Doyle slips under a jab from Gull. Gull scores with a hook. Gull throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Doyle was covering up waiting for the punch and Gull finishes the takedown easily into guard. Gull throws a big right hand that misses. Gull advances position into side control! Doyle is trying to control Gull's posture but Gull avoids it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gull trying to control the action but Doyle is working from the bottom. Doyle is looking for a sweep. Doyle trying to remain calm as Gull controls from the top position. Doyle stops Gull from passing to mount. Gull lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Doyle holds on to Gull's head and controls the position momentarily. Doyle is trying to get back to half guard. Gull tries to advance to mount but can't. Gull looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Doyle is avoiding damage well.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Gull tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Gull lands a nice forearm strike. Gull laying and praying for a moment but Doyle takes advantage and regains half guard. Gull has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Gull thows a huge punch but Doyle dodges it nicely.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Gull thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Gull looks to land a strike but Doyle avoids it nicely and regains full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Eli Gull will probably get the nod - 10:9. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Doyle looks to land a body kick but Gull moved away. Doyle throws a hook but Gull blocks it. Gull is trying hard to land a takedown here. Doyle sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Doyle lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Doyle lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Doyle misses with a double jab.
Doyle slaps away a takedown attempt from Gull, before circling back to the center of the mat. Doyle lands with a good body shot. Gull throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Gull takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Doyle throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Gull looks to land a right hand but Doyle moved out of range. Gull fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Greg Doyle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eli Gull. Gull fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Doyle manages to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Doyle scores with a leg kick.
Doyle misses with a few strikes there.
Doyle moves out of range of the strikes. Gull misses with a hook. Doyle ducked under it nicely. Gull throws a hook but Doyle avoids it easily. Gull closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Doyle with a nice cross. Eli Gull seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Doyle connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Gull throws a series of punches but Doyle avoids them all with ease. Doyle fails to land with a series of punches.
Gull has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Gull thows a leg kick but Doyle checks it and Doyle connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gull darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Doyle wants to control but Gull is keeping busy and won't allow it. Gull not landing any meaningful shots this time. Doyle blocking the ground and pound attempt from Gull. Gull trying to mount his opponent but Doyle defends it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gull thows a huge punch but Doyle dodges it nicely.
Greg Doyle has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Gull scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Gull uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Doyle.

and Gull counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Eli Gull is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Doyle throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Greg Doyle is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Doyle needs to keep his hands up - Gull had a free shot at his head there. Gull changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Doyle ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gull moves away. A bone on bone clash there as Gull blocks the leg kick.
Doyle swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Doyle misses with a looping right. Gull throws a predictable looking body shot
and Doyle counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Gull tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Doyle pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Gull cracks Doyle with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Gull shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Doyle counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
And that's the end of the fight! Greg Doyle showed his dominance in that final round. I think Gull has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
