Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rickson Paiva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trond Pedersveen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paiva comes to the cage accompanied by 2001 : Oddysey. Rickson Paiva is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rickson Paiva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Trond Pedersveen! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Matheus Silva and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Paiva drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pedersveen is trying to improve his position. Paiva is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Pedersveen knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Paiva has knee on belly and moves into mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pedersveen sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Paiva tries to pass to full mount but Pedersveen defends it. Paiva is looking for a kimura but Pedersveen is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Paiva to get the leverage. The fighters are battling for position here. Pedersveen manages to regain full guard. Nice work. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pedersveen doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Pedersveen is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Paiva is controlling him. Pedersveen keeping full guard, as Paiva tries to pass. Pedersveen is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Pedersveen looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round. Paiva passes Pedersveen's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Paiva is working for a kimura but Pedersveen is defending it quite comfortably.
Paiva wants to free his trapped foot but Pedersveen is holding on for dear life with his legs. Pedersveen trying to control here.
Paiva is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Pedersveen won't allow Paiva to pass to mount. Pedersveen tries to roll over but Paiva keeps him under control. Pedersveen pushes Paiva off looking to stand but Paiva dives back in and keeps control.
Paiva is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Pedersveen reverses the position - he's now on top in Paiva's guard. Paiva had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Pedersveen is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Paiva Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Pedersveen's back instead.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pedersveen trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Paiva has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Pedersveen is in real trouble here. Paiva gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Pedersveen is tapping out! Paiva wins by rear naked choke!
