Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mur Mur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leo Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. tribal entrance kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mur Mur! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Leo Johnson! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Ian Loll and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mur stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mur wants it to stay on the feet. Johnson fails with a takedown attempt. Johnson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mur sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Johnson somewhat. Mur Mur has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leo Johnson. Johnson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mur circles away quickly and effectively. Johnson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Mur napping and manages to drive through into side control! Johnson tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Johnson working the strikes but Mur uses the opportunity to regain half guard. Mur on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mur avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Johnson. Johnson misses with a head shot. Mur uses the momentum to regain guard. Mur wants to get back to his feet but Johnson passes into half guard.
Johnson thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Mur to regain full guard. Mur preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Johnson prevents Mur from getting back to his feet. Mur keeping full guard, as Johnson tries to pass.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Johnson throwing strikes but missing. Johnson postures up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. No luck for Johnson with that takedown attempt. Johnson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Johnson lands in his opponent's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson wants to pass the guard but Mur is keeping the position. Johnson throwing strikes but missing. Johnson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Johnson stops Mur from standing up. Johnson wants to control from the top but Mur keeps moving. Mur lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Johnson! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Johnson slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Johnson makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Johnson. Mur wants to pass the guard but Johnson is keeping the position. Johnson wants to sweep but no luck. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Johnson trying to control the position.

Johnson shoots in and drives through. Mur sprawls well. Johnson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mur's guard. Mur looking to sweep here. No luck so far. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Johnson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Mur keeping moving, preventing Johnson from controlling successfully. Mur avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mur is trying to control the position but Johnson postures up. Mur has Johnson pulled in close to control his posture. Johnson prevents Mur from getting back to his feet.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Johnson tries to clinch but Mur is having none of it. Mur Mur is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Mur misses with a looping left. Johnson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mur sprawls well initially but Johnson persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mur has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Johnson is working away from the top position though. Johnson is looking to stall here but Mur recovers full guard. Johnson looking to pass the guard. Johnson wants to control from the top but Mur keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson looking to pass the guard. Johnson in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Johnson looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Johnson dives in and grabs Mur's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mur pushes down on Johnson's head and hops out. Mur Mur has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leo Johnson.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Johnson works Mur's body with a nice hook. Mur tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Johnson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Nice takedown defense from Mur. No joy for Johnson on that attempt. Johnson is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Mur's half guard. Mur is not content to let Johnson control the position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Mur is trying to stand.

Leo Johnson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Mur throws a head kick that misses. Mur slaps away a takedown attempt from Johnson, before circling back to the center of the mat. Mur takes a swing at Johnson's ribcage but misses. Johnson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Leo Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mur defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Johnson. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Johnson scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Johnson fails to land the takedown. Mur Mur has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leo Johnson. Johnson has a takedown stuffed.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mur as he jumps to the side. Leo Johnson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Johnson misses the shot to the body. Mur throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Johnson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Johnson. Mur throws a big shot that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Mur wants to land a leg kick but Johnson is out of range. Johnson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mur as he jumps to the side. Mur misses with a combination
and Johnson counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Johnson is trying to control the action in half guard but Mur is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Johnson working over Mur with some ground and pound. Mur looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Mur is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Johnson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mur keeps working. Mur Mur has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mur wants to get back to full guard. Johnson trying to mount his opponent but Mur defends it. Mur taking some punishment here, with Johnson in his half guard. Johnson thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Mur's head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Mur is trying to control but Johnson manages to pass to mount!
Mur wants to control but Johnson is having none of it. Johnson lands a nice shot to the head. Mur wants to try and get back to his feet. Johnson lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Johnson lands a big elbow. Mur is squirming around, avoiding Johnson's attempts to control the action.
And that's the end of the fight! Leo Johnson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Johnson winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
