PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between The Big Show (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gordan Vukovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Show might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Pack -Bass. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vukovic fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Show avoids it really well and circles away.
Vukovic fails with the takedown.
Gordan Vukovic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Vukovic feints and as Show raises his hands in defense, Vukovic changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Vukovic in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Vukovic wants to control from the top but Show keeps moving.
Vukovic trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Vukovic throws a sloppy head kick and Show moves out of range easily.

Show checks the leg kick nicely there.
Show plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

It looks like Gordan Vukovic has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Show takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Show really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Vukovic gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Show wants to get back to striking at distance but Vukovic won't allow it.
Show prevents a takedown attempt there.
The Big Show has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gordan Vukovic.
Show wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Vukovic has him pressed against the cage.
Vukovic is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Vukovic has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Show clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Vukovic controlling well, preventing Show from escaping the position.

Vukovic is not going to allow Show to sit and survive in this position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Vukovic wants to control from the top but Show keeps moving.

Vukovic is trying to ground and pound but Show uses the momentary lack of control by Vukovic to regain half guard.
Vukovic thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Show's head.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Vukovic seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Show does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

and Show counters with a head kick. That will keep Vukovic thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Show seems to be stalking Vukovic here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Vukovic drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
