0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Foma Kowanlienko! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Skip Squint and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good standup being displayed there by Norris as he connects with a hook. Kowanlienko shoots in but Norris avoids the takedown attempt easily. Excellent takedown into side control there by Kowanlienko. Norris is looking to regain half guard here but Kowanlienko keeps moving and retains side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kowanlienko is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Norris looks calm but he's in trouble here. Kowanlienko gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Norris is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Kowanlienko lets go of the hold and Norris can pop his arm back in it's socket.
