Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tray Braxton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Xander Tua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tua is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Haka. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tray Braxton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Xander Tua! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Leandro Rodrigues and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Braxton looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Tua moves into range and connects with a jab. Braxton walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Tua dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Braxton closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Tua closes the distance and clinches up with Braxton, looking for a takedown. Tua pushes Braxton against the cage but Braxton circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Braxton fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Tua scores with a jab. Braxton tries to clinch up. Tua shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Braxton as he jumps to the side. Tua misses with a low kick. Braxton shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Braxton trying to pass the guard but Tua defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Braxton trying to control the action but Tua is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Braxton with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Braxton is looking for a kimura here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Tua is looking to improve his position.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Braxton is nestled in close to Tua, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Nice strikes from Braxton there. Tua is looking to escape. Braxton wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tua keeps working. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Tua wants to get back to his feet.
Braxton is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Tua defends it well. Braxton seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Tua has recovered full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Xander Tua dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Nice takedown defense from Braxton. No joy for Tua on that attempt. Braxton checks a leg kick nicely. Tua gets a takedown into half guard. Braxton is looking for a sweep. Tua is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Braxton is working hard here to advance position. Braxton gets full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Braxton is looking for a triangle but Tua pushes his legs off easily.

Braxton is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Braxton trying to keep a closed guard but Tua is proving a slippery customer.
Braxton has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Tua should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Braxton has tightened it up now! Tua should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
