Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rio Dirk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kova Luu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Luu looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Dirk changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Luu tries to avoid it but Dirk manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Luu to the ground. Luu escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Luu connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Dirk shoots in but Luu avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Dirk closes the distance looking to clinch

and Luu counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Dirk!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dirk wants to control but Luu is having none of it.
Luu looking to ground and pound but Dirk is blocking nicely.
Luu lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Dirk hang on?

Luu jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Dirk manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Luu is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Dirk is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Luu is looking to take a break and control but Dirk is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

Luu thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Dirk is looking for a sweep.

Luu is trying to get an arm triangle but Dirk is defending well.
Both fighters take a look at the clock.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Luu tries to stand but Dirk is controlling his head.
Dirk is not content to let Luu control the position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Dirk gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kova Luu dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Dirk closes the distance and clinches up with Luu, looking for a takedown. Dirk pushes Luu against the cage but Luu circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Luu throws a nice looking combination but Dirk bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Luu wants to stand and escape but instead Dirk has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Dirk is looking to work some ground and pound but Luu has wrist control.

Dirk is pushing down on Luu's leg trying to pass to half guard. Luu is fighting to maintain full guard but Dirk has managed to sneak the leg through.

Dirk looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Luu with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Luu is trying to maintain the position but Dirk is very close to passing his half guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Luu looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Dirk instigates a clinch.

Dirk is trying to trip Luu. He has hold of a leg but Luu is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Dirk persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dirk accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Dirk thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dirk accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Dirk wants to control from the top but Luu keeps moving.
Luu trying to keep a closed guard but Dirk is proving a slippery customer.
Dirk is working Luu over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Dirk slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Rio Dirk dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Dirk shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Luu throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dirk's waist but Dirk gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Luu off to one side.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rio Dirk. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Luu shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Dirk's guard.
Luu wanted to stand there but Dirk had control of the position.
Luu stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dirk swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Dirk knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Luu on the ground.

Dirk is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Still in half guard, Dirk seems content to control.
Luu is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Dirk scores with a couple of nice shots.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dirk is trying to control. Luu wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Dirk scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Dirk lands with a punch from half guard.
Dirk lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Dirk is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Luu defends it well.
