Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Adam West (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Philip Hais (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). West comes into the arena with Batman TV Show Theme Song blaring out of the sound system. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Adam West! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Philip Hais! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Daniel Bishop and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! West scores with a nice right hand.
Hais looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? West is fending him off so far but Hais persists. Nope, West circles away and we're back to standing. West stuffs the takedown attempt from Hais. Hais gets slowly back to his feet. Hais looks to land a right hand but West moved out of range. Hais fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Hais throws a sloppy head kick and West moves out of range easily. West throws a head kick but Hais moves out of range.
Hais closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hais lands in his opponent's guard. Hais loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Hais has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Hais throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as West works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. West looking to sweep here. No luck so far. West is looking to stand up but Hais isn't so interested in that idea. Hais trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. West is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hais accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Hais stands up over West, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Hais drops back, looking for a kneebar! West looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. West looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from West! West staying calm. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hais is trying to get back to half guard. West decides to stand back up. West steps back and let's Hais get back to his feet. Hais takes a jab right on the kisser.
West takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hais shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts West as he jumps to the side. Adam West has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Philip Hais. A big left from West misses. Hais takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. West throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hais sees it coming and avoids it easily. Adam West seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hais closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hais lands in his opponent's guard. Hais throws a strike but West rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. West stands up and waves to Hais to follow him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. West scores with a sloppy right hand. Hais should have avoided that one.
Hais is rocked! West lands an uppercut, right on the button! Hais tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Adam West!
