The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Skorski shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. McDreamy is trying to defend but Skorski finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
McDreamy tries to roll over but Skorski keeps him under control.

McDreamy wants to improve his position but Skorski is controlling well.
Skorski really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

McDreamy looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Skorski with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if McDreamy can do anything to dispel that myth.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Skorski shoots in looking for a takedown. McDreamy tries to sprawl out of it but Skorski keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. McDreamy manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

That was a close round but I would say that Michael Skorski will probably get the nod.

Skorski looks to land a combination. McDreamy sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Skorski is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Skorski, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
