The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, John Roberts and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morgan pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Janz misses with a straight right.
Janz takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Morgan ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Morgan tries to clinch but Janz moves out of range.
Janz stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Morgan.
Janz moves out of range as Morgan throws a body kick.
Morgan avoids the body shot from Janz.
Morgan misses with a two punch combination.
Morgan uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Janz.
Morgan jabs at Janz's body.
Morgan throws a right hand that Janz ducks under and follows up with a left that Janz also avoids with ease.

Janz uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Morgan.

Morgan comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Morgan lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Morgan moves in looking to clinch but Janz pushes him off.

Morgan lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Janz shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Morgan as he avoids it easily.
Janz takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Janz is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Morgan's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.

Morgan is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Janz had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
